I am an Aviva approved therapist, offering counselling, CBT, y EMDR por adults, face-to-face in Winchcombe, in the Cotswolds, and online across the UK. Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

You can request a therapy appointment or, if you would prefer to speak first, a free 15-minute video consultation. Therapy through Aviva is subject to authorisation and your policy cover.

If you’re using Aviva insurance, you can start the process today.

How it Works

1. Contact Aviva

Contact the Aviva claims team to request a pre-authorisation number for therapy. Let them know you have chosen an Aviva-registered therapist you would like to work with, rather than being referred elsewhere.

My registered name is Milagros Silva.

2. Confirm your cover

Ask Aviva to confirm the number of sessions approved and whether you have a policy excess to pay.

3. Send me your authorisation details

Email hello@silvapsychotherapy.com with:

  • Your full name and date of birth.
  • Aviva membership or policy number.
  • Pre-authorisation number.
  • Number of sessions approved and claim start date, if provided.
  • Details of any policy excess.

4. Arrange your first appointment

Once I have received your authorisation details, we can arrange your first appointment. Ongoing sessions usually take place weekly.

I invoice Aviva directly for authorised sessions. Any applicable policy excess is payable directly to me.

Need more sessions later?

If further sessions are clinically indicated, I can provide an update to Aviva and request additional authorisation. Approval depends on your policy and Aviva’s decision.
