Is therapy right for me?

Who do you work with?
I offer online therapy to individuals aged 13 and above.
How do I book a session?
Start by completing the booking form to share a bit about what you’re looking for. From there, you can either schedule a free 15-minute video consultation or go ahead and arrange your first full session — whichever feels right for you. The consultation gives us a chance to see if we’re a good fit before beginning therapy.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are conducted online via Zoom in a confidential, private setting.
Do you accept health insurance?
Yes — I’m a registered provider with BUPA, AXA, Aviva, and WPA. If you’re using insurance, please check your coverage directly with your provider before booking. I’m happy to guide you through the process if you have questions.
How long is each therapy session?
Each therapy session is 60 minutes long, unless agreed otherwise.
How often will I need therapy?
We’ll discuss this during your initial consultation. Together, we’ll create a personalised plan that fits your needs, schedule, and goals.
How many sessions will I need?
Every client’s needs are different. While some make significant progress in 6–8 sessions, others may prefer a slower pace. We’ll tailor the process to your goals and check in regularly to ensure therapy remains helpful and aligned with your progress.
What if I need to cancel a session?
I require 48 hours’ notice to cancel a session without being charged. For Monday appointments, please cancel by the preceding Friday.
What happens if I miss a session?
If you miss a session without notice, payment is required before booking another. Missing two sessions in a row without communication may lead to the release of your reserved time slot.
Can I pause therapy if I go on holiday or need a break?
You’re welcome to take a break from therapy when needed — just let me know in advance so we can plan around it together. I’ll always let you know ahead of time if I have any time off scheduled too. We can also talk about how to maintain your progress during a break if that’s helpful.
Is everything we talk about confidential?
Yes — your privacy is a top priority. Sessions are confidential, and information is only shared in supervision (without identifying details) or if there is an immediate risk to you or someone else.
Do you offer support in emergencies?
No, I do not provide crisis or emergency support — but support is available. If someone is in immediate danger or distress, please contact 999, go to the nearest A&E, or call Samaritans (116 123) — available 24/7. For people under 19, Childline (0800 1111) offers free and confidential help.
