A Journey of Growth, Healing, and Human Connection
My path to psychotherapy wasn’t linear. I first trained as a Civil Engineer in Peru, and after moving to the UK and losing both my parents, everything shifted. That profound grief became a gateway into deeper purpose — ultimately leading me to retrain in psychology and counselling.
I learned that healing is always possible — even after profound loss—and that it’s never too late to begin again.
Today, I’m a BABCP-accredited CBT Psychotherapist, EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, Counsellor, and Psychosexually Informed Therapist, working online with individuals aged 13+ across the UK and internationally.
I support people experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, OCD, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, psychosexual concerns, grief, and life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based—combining Counselling, CBT and EMDR with ACT, CFT, IFS-informed work, DBT skills, and Mindfulness. I offer secure, confidential online therapy, giving clients flexibility and access to specialist support from the comfort of their own home. My trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach is designed to support deep healing and emotional resilience.
As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), mother, and co-parent, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience.
My intention is to meet you where you are, create a clear therapeutic plan, and support steady, meaningful growth — so you can relate to yourself and others with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.
How I Work
My therapeutic approach is personalised and integrative. That’s why I draw from a broad range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Psychosexual Therapy, and Mindfulness, among others. My work is grounded in NICE-recommended approaches and shaped by ongoing clinical development.
My Peruvian roots and connection to traditional healing also influence my work. With advanced training in the field of psychedelics and mental health, I bring a holistic lens to therapy — one that blends science, cultural sensitivity, and intuition.
Experience and Client Work
I have supported young people and adults across the NHS, education, charities and private practice. My experience includes:
CAMHS, schools and community counselling services — delivering brief and longer-term therapy.
National charities — including Macmillan, Mind, Samaritans and Place2Be, as well as domestic-abuse support services.
NHS Practitioner Health Programme (PHP) — helping doctors and other healthcare professionals manage stress, burnout, anxiety, trauma and role-related challenges.
I’m a recognised provider for AXA Health, Aviva, Bupa and WPA, giving insured clients straightforward access to high-quality psychological care.
