Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy is for everyone — whether you’re looking to work through mental health challenges or simply improve your overall wellbeing. Let’s connect for a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether this feels like the right next step for you.

I offer online therapy to individuals aged 13 and above.

Start by completing the booking form to share a bit about what you’re looking for. From there, you can either schedule a free 15-minute video consultation or go ahead and arrange your first full session — whichever feels right for you. The consultation gives us a chance to see if we’re a good fit before beginning therapy.

Sessions are conducted online via Zoom in a confidential, private setting.

Yes — I’m a registered provider with BUPA, AXA, Aviva, and WPA. If you’re using insurance, please check your coverage directly with your provider before booking. I’m happy to guide you through the process if you have questions.

Each therapy session is 60 minutes long, unless agreed otherwise.

We’ll discuss this during your initial consultation. Together, we’ll create a personalised plan that fits your needs, schedule, and goals.

Every client’s needs are different. While some make significant progress in 6–8 sessions, others may prefer a slower pace. We’ll tailor the process to your goals and check in regularly to ensure therapy remains helpful and aligned with your progress.

I require 48 hours’ notice to cancel a session without being charged. For Monday appointments, please cancel by the preceding Friday.

If you miss a session without notice, payment is required before booking another. Missing two sessions in a row without communication may lead to the release of your reserved time slot.

You’re welcome to take a break from therapy when needed — just let me know in advance so we can plan around it together. I’ll always let you know ahead of time if I have any time off scheduled too. We can also talk about how to maintain your progress during a break if that’s helpful.

Yes — your privacy is a top priority. Sessions are confidential, and information is only shared in supervision (without identifying details) or if there is an immediate risk to you or someone else.

No, I do not provide crisis or emergency support — but support is available. If someone is in immediate danger or distress, please contact 999, go to the nearest A&E, or call Samaritans (116 123) — available 24/7. For people under 19, Childline (0800 1111) offers free and confidential help.

Feel free to describe what’s bringing you to therapy. You can include anything you’re currently struggling with, how it’s impacting you, and what you hope to explore or experience in therapy. There’s no right or wrong — just what feels true for you.
